Maritime Mite Showdown
Welcome, please join us for our annual Mite Hockey tournament in beautiful Manitowoc, WI. This tournament will be held January 31st - February 1st, 2026 The cost of registration is $300 per team. There will be a Mite Blue and Mite White level for this tournament.
Ages
This is a Mite 8U tournament that will have 2 age/skill level divisions. We are looking for 8U teams only, this is not a 6U tournament, skaters should be able to skate competitively and have some knowledge of game play.
Mite Blue: Typically 5-6 years old and mainly in their first year of competitive hockey. Prefer skaters to have some game knowledge when skating on the ice. Some leeway is given on age and years of skating as some kids just don't progress like others and sometimes a second year skater is on the blues. If you have an aggressive skater who is a heavy shooter they probably should be on a white team.
Mite White: 7-8 years old and mainly in their second year of competitive hockey. Can be younger than 7 years old if they are a decent competitive skater and can keep up at that skill level.
When
Tournament games will start at 8am on Saturday, January 31st and conclude Sunday, February 1st with placing games. Games schedules and format will be released at least 2 weeks ahead of time.
Games
Game format and length may vary pending registration numbers but expect at least three games over the course of the weekend.

Here is the pre-order link for the tournament apparel that is ready to get sent out to all the teams. The deadline for pre-orders is Saturday, the 24th. This year we have added some black and navy-blue colored items that are available only on the pre-order due to the different printing process.
NOTE: TIER 1 will only be available Saturday for apparel orders.
