Youth Hockey

The 6U & 8U Mites programs focus on learning to skate and play in a fun environment. Kids are grouped by age and skill into Red, White and Blue teams. Mites play cross-ice and half-ice games.

10U (starting age nine) begins full-ice youth hockey. Emphasis remains on skills development and player growth in a positive environment.

6U Mini-Mites

6U Mini-Mites are typically 5 or 6-year-olds and/or first-year skaters working on basic skating and stickhandling skills.

8U Mites

8U Mites are generally 7 and 8-year-olds continuing their development in skating and stickhandling while also gaining awareness of team play.

10U Squirts

The 10U (Squirts) division is for skaters aged 9-10 and offers co-ed teams at varying skill levels to develop all players while introducing full-ice hockey

12U Pee Wees

The 12U (Pee Wees) is for co-ed skaters aged 11-12. Play becomes more competitive and skills sharpened.

14U Bantams

The 14U (Bantams) division is for ages 13-14. At this level body checking is allowed. Players may move on to our co-op high school program after Bantams (or if enrolled in a participating high school).
